Words

Along the lines of Abbie's last post, I, too, have noticed how many more words The Nut is saying.  Here's a re-cap of this weeks favorites.

Tea:  Not only does she say tea, but she loves to bring you tea bags or tea strainers.  Grandma keeps it all in a drawer that is the perfect height for her to get what she needs.

Shoes:  pronounced "shooshz" and it is especially important to identify whose shooshz are whose.  These are Elsi's shooshz.

Eggs: one of her favorite breakfast items right now; only to be trumped by cheese!  Actually, everything comes after cheese these days.

Babies: pronounced "babeeshz".  She is loves pointing out babeeshz in magazines but she is not nearly as excited about pointing out babeeshz that her mommy is holding.  Els warmed up to Lindsley later in the evening though... when she was with her own mommy.

Keys: one that Tia quickly learned not to let her play with because then we spend several panic filled minutes in the morning looking for them.

Who's Playin with My Toys?

Sam, Sawyer and Tucker came over to visit Grandma.  I was surprised to see them playing with all of my toys when I walked into the house.  I wasn't too sure how I felt about it, but after about 5 minutes, I gave in and started playing with them.  We had a good time!

Comics at the Crossroads

The Comics at the Crossroads exhibit at the Boise Art Museum was cool, but not nearly as cool as the museums fun room.

Pumpkin!

Na-na carved a pumpkin just for me! Thank you, Na-na!

Autumn Harvest with my Cousins

Following cousin Caleb's birthday party, Aunt Jennifer and Uncle Ryan took us all into the backyard to pick apples -- yum! Somehow I even got a new car out of the deal!

Building Blocks

Elsinore's vocabulary is expanding rapidly and she learns new words everyday. She still seems to have her favorites that she vocalizes often and with great enthusiasm; 'pumpkin', 'sunshine', 'moon', 'pancake', 'WaWa', 'No', 'shoes', 'socks', 'hat', 'hot', 'cold', 'bus', along with answering the question, "what does a (fill in animal name) say?" We never know which one she'll choose as a favorite.
