Hulls Gulch Stream
Wow - what fun on a sunny Spring day. We met Scott and Miranda at the Hulls Gulch Trailhead. The girls rode their balance bikes to this little creek crossing and we all played in the water for a couple hours. Els named this tree the "bramble bush" and the girls swung and plopped down in the water for endless laughs.

A trip to the baseball fields
note the camo shorts and white furry purse...
Grandpa and Colleen babysat Els so the parents could have a night out for dinner and a movie. They took Els to the baseball fields down the hill so she could ride her bike and run around. The next morning Els reported that she had lots of fun with her duo babysitting team.

Turner Family Talent Show
The Turner Family gathers for Sunday dinner every two months This April they did something a little bit different and invited everyone to participate in a talent show. We had cloggers, musicians, fire spinners, and these two lovely 3-year dancers who didn't even rehearse their talent. I thought Els would be too shy to get on stage, but she absolutely loved dancing in front of everyone!

First flight in a small airplane
Grandpa and Colleen invited me and Els to join them for an Emmett fly in. Els and I flew in Colleen's plane and Grandpa flew separately. Colleen did an awesome job explaining everything to Els and Els did a fabulous job listening to instructions and having fun. She loved having a headset, looking at all of the sights, finding Grandpa's airplane in the sky, and singing songs to us along the way. What a great adventure!
Els and Mom having fun and enjoying the ride
Elsinore excited to see Grandpa's SuperCub flying in the distance

A field trip to Africa
Giraffe Laugh focused on a different country every week for a couple of months in the toddler room. They created flags, cooked dished, and learned a little about local culture. The week about 'Africa' concluded in a trip to the zoo to see giraffes, zebras, lions, and tigers. It was raining, but we still had a great time.
