We went for many walks during our time in Oregon. We met Terry, Tiffany and their daughter, Madisen, at Champoeg park. Madisen was very interested in getting Elsinore's attention.
We started using the cloth diapers we made when Elsi was 6 weeks old. Peggy told me that drying them in the sun would naturally whiten them. It works like a charm and I love the process of hanging the colorful little diapers outside. They look so cute hanging between the trees on the property in Dundee.
Spending time with Nana on a hot day...they both look good in yellow! Peggy often came over in the afternoons and held Elsi, which gave me a chance to do some projects. Peggy and Emil (NaNa and PopPop) also fixed us dinner almost every night we were there.
Here we are hanging out in the nursery in Dundee. We call this room the "purple room". One of our outings included buying new bedding for the purple room at Macy's. We did a diaper change in the back of the car and Elsi was crying so loudly that a car alarm of a neighboring car went off! She comes by her "screaming eagle" nickname honestly.
