At the conclusion of Elsi's first week of daycare, she came home with a cold virus. She felt pretty awful all weekend and had a tough time sleeping. Even so, she and Steve made sure to give me a happy mother's day Sunday morning. Steve bought us tickets to see a live recording of 'Wait Wait...Don't Tell Me!' in Portland in September, including a pass to meet the team. I'm a big fan of that show and am incredibly excited. Elsi gave me a label maker. This was a very thoughtful reaction to my complaints of the daycare staff writing her name on all of her things with a Sharpie. I started labeling all things Elsinore immediately.
