If you look closely at the last couple of photos you can see that The Nut's left cheek is black and blue. She did this at her Day Care Provider's on Thursday.
If you have had the pleasure of seeing Elsinore walk, you will know she has a tendency to crash into things and/or fall... often. She never complains though. It's as if having a face plant were all part of the process for getting from point A to point B. One simply stands back up and continue on; there is not time to be burdened by such details as discomfort or pain...
However, according to Giraffe Laugh, the "incident" did not meet up with such indifference. Nope, when Els rammed into the book case, she let them know it hurt this time... And, in their words, "since she never cries, we knew it had to be bad, so we've written up an incident report."
It took a couple days but the black cheek proved that the tears were warranted. And therefore, so was her first incident report.
Dang the luck.
