Wow! What a great ski season we've had. Tia Kelli and Uncle O provided the tools and motivation by giving Els her first pair of skis for Christmas. Uncle Scott took away the fear of the parents by offering expert ski lessons to Els and instructions for the parents on what to do and not do when skiing with a toddler. He was also willing to set aside many hours on consecutive weekends to work with us and help Els make some super progress. And, unbelievably the weather cooperated by providing at least one sunny day on the hill per weekend so far. Els has begged to ski by herself, to go faster, and to move on to the standard ski lunch time treat of a burger and fries when she'd had enough. I couldn't have hoped for this much fun or skill development during her first season.
