Hanging out on Friday

Steve Daddy and I took Friday afternoon off of work to attend the first two matches of the Davis Cup Quarterfinals being hosted in Boise (USA vs. Serbia).  While we were embracing the suspense of a close second match, Els went with Uncle Scott and Olivia for a walk in the foothills.  The photo above was taken at the foothills learning center.  



After the walk, they met Marney and Mike at Hyde Park for dinner.  Apparently Els loved the calamari!  Since the tennis match was still going, Els went to Marney's house and enjoyed hanging on the outdoor daybed reading books.  It was so much fun that Els didn't want to go back home when we arrived to pick her up.  But it was among the smoothest bed time transitions once we got home.  The tired girl requested that I leave the room and go to bed in my own room after only two books.  Thanks Scott, Marney, and Mike for the fun afternoon and evening!
