 Iva gave Els butterfly wings for a present and she sported them the entire day.  Other parents and kids commented throughout the day.  I don't doubt the zoo will be selling them soon.

When we got to the hotel Els was playing with her Curious George doll and told him that there was an orangoutang at the zoo and he was sad...but "he liked me," she said.  I think she was right on both counts.

Els: "Daddy, you smell like a GOPHER!"
Steve: "It is not nice to tell your father he smells like a gopher."
Els: "but....you do."

Feb. 28th
Els giving a morning lecture: "Never EVER touch a forest Yetti.  He will cut you into pieces!....or....he will cut your hair."

Mar. 4th
Els had some interesting observations and questions when her Mom read her It's Not the Stork!: A Book About Girls, Boys, Babies, Bodies, Families and Friends (an age appropriate illustrated book for young children).
Els observation #1 "China rhymes with Vagina."
Els observation #2 "My Daddy has that kind of penis.  Who else do we know who has a circumcised penis?"

After she finished going to the bathroom, Els declared, "That's a fat poop.  It's fat like a dragon."

Lightning Girl Gets A Haircut

Elsinore refused getting a haircut but Lightning Girl was much more reasonable and willing to take on the challenge.  A Super Hero on her way to Super Cuts.
