Exergy Tour 2012

The Exergy Tour women's cycling race took place over the weekend.  The final race of the series started in Hyde Park on Memorial Day.  A bunch of friend's met at Scott's house on 13th and his neighbor, Willy Mule, hosted a wonderful brunch.  We then watched the race start from Camel Back park.  The girls rode proudly in backpacks worn by the Dads.

After all of the police motorcycles, women cyclists, chase, and media cars zoomed past us cheering fans, Elsinore announced, "that was fun!"...about twenty times.  Over the last couple days Els periodically says things like, "I saw a motorcycle race." and  "the motorcycle race was fun!".   Apparently the police motorcycles leading the way made a bigger impact on her than the female cyclists doing the real racing.
