Els and LaLa both contracted Hand, Foot, and Mouth Disease late last week. It came down harder on LaLa for sure. But, Els was certainly having her share of misery, including fever, sensitive skin, screaming out in the middle of the night for what seemed like hours, and finally little blisters on her feet. Thank goodness Tylenol and Ibuprofen helped keep the pain manageable.
Because of the infection, the girls didn't go to G-laugh for the first half of the week. I stayed home on Wednesday and took both girls in the morning. And, lucky for us, Uncle Scott came by with coffee and some ideas for keeping the girls entertained. Els convinced him to take her outside for a walk-about in only her diaper. What a refreshing way to start the day!
The girls also enjoyed playing dress up for an hour or so. For being so sick, they sure were fun!
