Quotable Two Year Old - August

One day I asked Els if she wanted a peanut butter and jelly sandwich OR a tuna fish sandwich for lunch.  She thought for a moment and responded, “I would like a jellyfish sandwich!”  She has since requested a jellyfish sandwich to eat once or twice per week. 

While at alive after five, the band was doing a sound check.  When the sax player started playing loudly, Els clasped her hands over her ears and said, “ouch!  That hurt my feelings!”.

There is a huge curly willow tree at my parent’s house that we planted for my Mom’s 50^th birthday.  Elsinore knows it as “Grandma’s Tree”.  While on a walk about with Uncle Scott to see “Grandma’s Tree” she looked up into the tree and said, “Grandma, are you up there?”. At that exact moment a hawk screamed from down below in the hollow.
